Sorry to be a "stranger" lately. I have been working on a new project while we wait for the twins. Tell me what you think even though its not a diesel.
2008 SRT8 Challenger complete overhaul inside and out and underneath as well!
Build sheet:
Kenne Bell 3.6 liter liquid cooled supercharger
8 groove pulley system
100mm throttle body
upgraded fuel system
New 426 Stroker (imagine that)
Upgraded trans
Stall and flexplate
1000hp Axels, drive shaft(s)
New ls differential with superstiff cover and 3:55 gears
Mr Norms cuda hood
HXC Cuda tail lights
Cuda grill
carbon fiber everywhere (spoilers front and rear, head and tail light surrounds etc.)
custom made seats
sound deadned and acoustic padded completely (that was a pain-kids are still mad)
Kooks headers, converters and corsa exhaust
Foose Fishtails chrome with Pirelli Scorpions 20 x 9 FT and 20 x 11 rear
Water/Meth system and probably alot of stuff I forgot.

Thank you. That sound stuff is ok for doors and such but after you cover an entire interior with it your very very tired of it. Just ask my kids, they are smaller so they got to climb in the trunk area.

This time I am not going to even "guess brag". We want 1000rwhp but in these babies its very difficult to achieve that and still keep it streetable. There are a few out there but I approached this as I did with Blackie and have researched it from every possible angle to atleast get every piece of the puzzle to be able too with the right tuning. Problem is our highest pump gas is only 92 octane and even with the water/meth kit its hard to break that 1000 mark. I actually have no idea what it will do but according to him he better be able to beat his buddies ls9 corvette at least in a medium distance race (corvette tops out 200+) and maybe his snotty neighbor in the aston. So if I atleast accomplish this he will be happy Still going to be funny when the twins are done on Blackie and I kick his but with his own truck:rofl:

You could have use something like Quiet Coat and not the mat stuff

Thanks but everything I have done on Blackie I learned from this site and these people. It was my first diesel and people like Pat and Kathy, Guy Tripp, Dan@PPE and Larry Jewell either told me how to do or pointed me where to go to find what I needed. They deserve that compliment more then me.

I have a buddy that's building one right now it's got 3500 miles on it and the motor is getting re powder coated as we speak. He's doing the 426 hi boost kit. Should be a pretty sick car when it's all done.

Do you have E85 pumps there? Had alot of success with running gas cars on that.

Nope, damn small podunk town. Just talked to the head tech at Mr Norms and he is ordering the water/meth kit for the power range we want to be in and said we should have no problems reaching our goal.:thumb: still say even with that much power blackie will beat it to 100mph
