Do you have to pull the turbo on a lb7 to install a batmowheel? Seems like most guys like them for a cheap effective power upgrade.

Does the downpipe have to be unbolted and pulled away or basically pull the turbo inlet out unbolt and pull old wheel off and slide new one on?

Will need to pull the downpipe at least out of the way to you get access to the backside of the shaft to put a ratchet on it.

The turbo does not have to come out to upgrade the wheel. The comp cover is a mother to get off though. Be prepared to take the y-bridge out and cut up some wrenches to get it off. The downpipe does need to be un-bolted and moved out of the way as stated above.

I did the batmo on my lbz, because i was doing a full egr delete at the time and right then and there its not much more work. I really like it.

Yes you would have to disconnect the downpipe to get to the nut in the exhaust housing so you can unbolt the compressor wheel.

Does everyone realize there is a big price difference in the wheel and an entire new turbo setup? Everyone is not up for that much coin at one time.
