Bass Pro Shops deep fry kit on sale...

i got an email monday about this frier kit on sale for $40 bucks. i ordered it up and just got it in today, very nice piece.

just thought i'd put you guys up on this in case anyone was thinking about getting one. i've got 2 turkeys that are waiting to get dipped this weekend.

i got one of these kits a few years ago it been pretty good deal the only thing i would change about it would be a stainless steel pot the aluminum one is vary hard to keep clean but all in all nice cheep kit

That is one of the nicest "cheap" fryer rigs I have ever seen. I like the brackets on the burner stand and the fact that the pot has a pour spout.

That said, a decent SS pot alone (with lifting rack and thermometer) is going to cost about 3 to 5 times that. Eastman makes nice SS frying stuff FWIW....
