Can anyone tell me the basic PIDs to log? I have a 2003 lb7 built transmission ppe boost valve EFI tuned with the airdog II. I am trying to find out if my cp3 is going bad . Every time I step on it hard in my two bigger tunes it falls on the truck falls on its face.

Do you have a lift pump?

basically just log actual VS Des or actual frp and des fuel rail press will tell you if the pressure on the cp3 pump is dropping

how old is the fuel filter? how much does the lift pump pressure drop at wot? how old is the cp3?

ok so i data logged it lastnight and it my RP looks like it gets up to 23000 then falls to 8000 or so at wot. when i let off it go's right back up. the bad thing is that i realy do know what im looking at. how long should the RP stay high before it drops off ? i mean befroe you can tell if it is the cp3 or the fprv?also the lift pump is new and i am getting 10 psi after the fuel filter, how do i know if the lift pump is keeping up?

Try the FPRV first..that's EXACTLY what mine was doing..I shimmed the FPRV and it holds 24k on my race tune at WOT

Like where? Don't i have a fprv? Where would be the next place you would look at? I would also love it if someone with more knowledge then i have could look at what i data logged and tell me what they thought.

You do have a FPRV, but LB7s don't usually have problems with them... Even in big power trucks.. compress the log file to a zip file and post it up

U would need to have a gauge on the low pressure for the lift pump to see if it's dropping doubt that is the issue

what pw are you commanding? The rail seems to drop quite a bit!
