Should I add timing to the tables with the pilot/s on or match all the tables? Is there a general # I should be adding?

When I select a part of my logs and then go into my tunes and look at a table that has Desired Fuel Rail its always at 190 Kpa. Am I using the wrong PID, or what? It looks fine in my logs as PSI. I was looking at B0720.

My hot keys don't work I have F1 for LBZ selected but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Thanks

I cant speek for all but i dont mess with my pilot injection tables, base timming ....... It would depend on if fuel is added ( pulse width ) , and as far as logging you want to be watching actual rail and compare it to desired rail . not shure why desired rail would always say 190 unless that is what is being cammanded, except for WOT of course ? maybe others have seen this .

I don't see how you can't need to mod the the timing of the Pilot of the LBZs since each table is Base+whatever pilot is active. Unless I'm misunderstanding the function of those tables and can just mod the Base table. I haven't messed with pilot injection and don't plan on it anytime soon.

Ya I log both actual and desired and it seems to log fine. But when I look it up in my tune its at 190 all the time not WOT. I don't log Throttle Position and it is the same way on the tables based on it 100% all the time. I know some of the PIDs are different for the LBZ I' using GM.FRPDES.

There could be some validity to what your are saying about the timming , like i said i have always just adjusted base timming for what i have in my main pulse width tables and have left pilot timming alone . not shure on the fuel pressure without seeing the tune .

To fix the fuel pressure reading, you need to go into scan tool in the PID selection. Right click on SAE.FRP_C and select metric. That should fix that issue. It is feeding the tune tool the PSI instead of Kpa.

Dozer I always adjust pilot to match changes in main timing

But is your talking about main inj no pulse and main inj...then if you add 20 % to 1 table i would ad 20 % to the other,Thats just me though ....I use a Excel spead sheet o figure the numbers....If you compare the 2 tables there is a slight difference

Your pilot will be OK if you dont adjust it and is VERY hard to notice any
difference.

Ok I had read that timing should go be add with the pilots in an old thread on DP. Maybe as I learn more I will mess with it I just wanted to make sure that is ok to leave them the same for the LBZ as well.

Anyone have ideas about the hot keys? I also can't make notes while logging (BBL no laptop). I only tried it once you just hit a # on the the keypad of the V2 I used #1 right? I have all the updates.
