barometric pressure sensor

my cts monitor wasn't showing boost value, it stayed on 14# all the time, I had a dtc for barometric pres sensor, I checked sensor and harness still no change. I bought a new one from dealer and installed it still throw sensor code and now monitor displays 27# all the time. sensor tests out fine and I wonder if a wire is bad in harness, anyone had this problem before? its a 2004 with 214,000 easy miles

My only 2 thoughts at this time,
Pretty sure it reads about 14 (depending on baro pressure usually 12-14) so its like your first sensor was correct.

As for the 27 on the new, are you sure its plugged in? I think 27 is max read out which could mean its not connected well.
