Hey guys I bought my truck with the banks power package already on it and the iQ programmer thing would sometimes blank out. On my 3000 mile drive across the country, on the last few hundred miles it started to completely freeze up. Now wen i plug it in it is glitchy for about ten seconds then completely freezes up and I have to let it die pretty much for it to go off. Really frustrating. I want EFI live but just got a new place and have to wait til the finances settle down.
I want to get this thing working. It is the A5 model and the bridge light is green then disappears all together when i plug it in. Any ideas? I dont have the cable to hook it up to my computer. Im in Northern Colorado if anyone nearby has ideas.
Truck is a 2007 Sierra 2500HD with 142,000 miles.
I should add, the first time it froze up the truck went into limp shortly after. I had to pull over while towing and wait about 15 minutes with the truck off and the iQ disconnected before it would go out of limp. I am thinking it is unrelated. I was stupidly towing a car at speeds well above what I should have, for too long. My trans temps were on the high side so Im thinking that was the culprit.
Thanks.
