What is a good RPM to monitor balance rates? I seem to be getting different readings at different RPM's.

While were on the subject, I just replaced on injector that was rebuilt by a very reputable shop, and the rates are as high as -2.2x : normal?

Any rpm above what the ecm registers as idle will not show balance rates on a scanner

I'm just trying to understand how to read them, because I even a brand new injector will read -2.2 at a certain RPM and then it will be right close to 0 at a different RPM.

 what rpm are you reading these at? put your stock tune back in and read them and factory idle, that will give you the best idea of how they are doing. IIRC, balance rates can be read up to 1000rpm with a commanded idle but nothing will appear above that.

Balance rates ate read at idle. The show how fueling is being used to hold the targeted idle RPM. So when one takes an excess amount to maintain idle it is defective.
