I have my truck back up and running. Being a track only vehicle I would like gut the interior as much as possible. One small issue I would like to correct is with my dash panel lights - they don't work. The factory gauges work and I can data log the ECM and TCM with EFILive.
When I plug EFILive/Laptop into the OBDII port the dash lights come on. When unplugged they go off.
When I plug in the SnapOn Solus Scanner tool, the dash lights don't work and the factory gauges quit working. I can not connect with the BCM, clear Airbag codes, or connect/control ABS functions.
I am assuming I missed/eliminated a ground. I took out the Heat/AC, CD Player, all ductwork, dome & cargo lighting, and speakers. I left the Airbag controller hooked up and grounded. For now, both airbags are plugged in and the front impact sensor is still wired in and in working condition.
Any thoughts?
