Hi guys, I have an 02 zf6 truck and in the low gears and sometimes trying to drive around town I get horrible bucking/surging. I replaced the FPR with a genuine Bosch fpr from Pensacola Diesel because of the surging, thinking it would fix it but it seemed to almost get worse and then developed a small lope when I start it up when its cold. Could I have gotten a bad fpr or what could it be? Thanks in advance!

Any codes being thrown? Im pretty sure I need an FPR, becuase I do get the bucking and such on my 03 sometimes.. It seemed like it was alittle more noticeable when I had my Bullydog programmer on the truck

The pins on the fpr plug are could be opened up not making a good connection. Either try closing them up some with a pick or source a new plug
