Backup camera opinions

Ok guys I'm wondering who has experience with different backup cameras. I have an insight cts 2 and what used to be a top tier pioneer double din (2013)

Who runs one and what do you like better? Double din screen vs. cts mounted with the suction cup on the windshield. Thanks for any input.

I personally like mine in the rear view mirror. Doesn't make sense to be looking down at the dash while backing up.

For sure that would be ideal, I doubt I'd be able to retrofit a nnbs mirror to my lbz though?

Yeah missed that part. I would go for the head unit than. At least it has a big screen

I ran my cam on a CTS for about a year-year and a half, just switched it to a double din kenwood 6 months ago,

I like it alot better on the stereo screen, the larger screen makes it easier to see. And works 100% of the time, the cts would give an ocassional fit

Only one extra connection to the stereo, reverse signal, mine has a specific wire for it, tapped into the bcm under the dash

Added OEM mirror with an aftermarket camera in the tailgate handle bezel like factory.

I worked on a van that had one in the mirror and I liked it better than my wife's in the dash in her Denali. I hardly ever use hers. She uses it all the time. It is nice hooking up to a trailer.

Think they mirror was $200ish and camera was $100ish. Been on there a while.
