I am just curious as to how these tables control boost pressure. What happens if you adjust them? Could they limit boost pressure over what Desired Boost is set at? Would it just keep building boost until it blew up if you set the limits above what allows the ECM to control the boost?
Thing is I have always had a hard time making boost with my stock charger. 25psi with the biggest tunes I have is the max I pretty much have ever seen. Once or twice I hit 28. Other people with the same tune hit 30 or more with no problem.
I HAVE NOT pressure tested my intercooler plumbing yet, but I don't believe I have a leak because with stock tuning it holds 20psi all day. But with bigger tunes it hits that 20 to 22psi limit and pretty much stops there like something is limiting it. No it's not the gauge.
