im sure im not the only one with these questions on the maf tables.
from what i can figure B0802 doesnt do anything until you exceed 50 faults. according to B0806 if i exceed 50 then the ecu will look at expected airflow rather than acual measured values. so if im thinking straight if i lower the limit on B0806 to 0 then i can use my logs and map B0802 so that i can make my race tune run with minimal smoke but same power. would this be the same as turning off my maf sensor? im thinking not.
on another point on my logs the expected airflow is higher than what is currently written into the tune, so that makes me think that if i put the logged numbers in that i will smoke more because the engine thinks there is even more air and fuels harder. am i wrong on this point?
i know other tables follow the maf readings ( not sure of all of them off the top of my head ) but i am trying to tie this smoke down a little, not all the way.
