It's been a while since I sold the Chevy that was pictured in my avatar. Some on here thought it was funny to put a picture of a pink Ford as my new avatar. Well, here is my actual truck, my 2005 F-350 King Ranch. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Nice looking truck! What have you done to it? I'm hearing with an egr delete and head studs the 6.0's are great motors.

Thanks! I had it apart a few months ago to "bulletproof" it. At 104k miles I took the engine down to the shortblock, replaced all updated Ford/International parts, replaced the oil cooler (notorius for clogging), new headgaskets, studs, egr delete, regulated return fuel system, 155/30 injectors, Durastroke turbo (stock powerstroke turbo with a lly duramax compressor housing machined to fit) S&B intake, PI converter, SCT custom tunes and tuned FICM. It's really fast, produces very little smoke. Haven't dynoed yet but hoping to be right around 500. My buddy who is hard core Duramax, is very impressed by it and he never says anything good about Fords. I'm not biased to any brand, I've had Powerstrokes and Duramaxes. I just like trying different things. I know my 6.0 isn't as fast or powerful as a Duramax can be, but I'm happy with it.:happy2:

Sounds like it will be plenty reliable for ya and fun:thumb:. All that matters is that you are happy with it not a brand feud.

What kinda money is this provided i have an lly turbo sitting in the garage?

I know I paid $400. I sent them my stock turbo and the lly compressor side that my buddy gave to me. I also have a Batmowheel which was an additional $400. I heard that he doesn't use duramax housings anymore, that he machines the stock powerstroke one to make it bigger. Check out their website madturbowerks.com. He's making alot of replacement turbos for the 6.0 and they are really impressive.

I started off with a 6.oshit. Ended up almost giving the truck away b/c of the engine issues. I do miss that big door, lots of room to rest the arm on lol

I think my issue was with the HP oil pump, ford kept putting new injectors in it (and not messing with the pump) until 5 years and 84,000 miles and then said good luck.
They had to put a new turbo on also. No other issues with the rest of the truck, just the engine and dealing with fords antiwarrantee department
