Autometer gauge problem

hi ive had this boost guage sitting around for quite some time, popped it in the other day. then it didnt do anything.... its stuck at 0. is there anyway i can fiddle around with it, like recalibrate it or something? if anyone has done it before or if its even been done.

Is it mechanical or electrical?

and fyi, add some washer fluid.
