Truck is an 05 LLY.

Bought a ECM already tuned and an autocal for updates so all I had to do was swap and go. Well I've upgraded my turbo and need to update my tunes. I have the new tunes, I believe I loaded them onto my autocal correctly.

Dragged the tune file from the desktop to the tune folder. Do I have to remove the previous tune from this folder? Or will this be the next in line full flash? If I've got stock, original tunes, new turbo tunes, it'll be full 3 when plugged into the truck?

What fuses have to be removed when flashing to the truck? I thought if you had certain aftermarket electronics like radio some fuses should be removed?

Do I have to "read" my current tunes off the ECM before updating them or just click full 3 and it'll write over them?

You can pull the old tunes out of the autocal and save to your computer so there is no confusion.

You could also re-name the new tune so you can tell which is the correct tune to load into the truck.

If you have a copy of the tunes currently in the ecm, you do not need to read them out. You may not be able to read them out anyway depending on how the tuner saved the file.

The autocals have limited space so you may need to remove some files from it to allow the new tunes to fit.

Andy, your Autocal should have the advanced menu and not the default menu.

I emailed you some PDF Files.

It should be "TUNE" then "PROGRAM CAL" in the menu.

Then select your tune you want to load.

Key on and not running, disable any aftermarket stereo's etc and make sure you pull the underhood ABS fuse if you get a error.

Call me if you need any help

;)

Awesome. Just got the email. Thank you Tony. I'll let you know how she runs in a week or so when I've finally got time to install it. Tough working 12+hrs a day 7 days a week. Haha
