LB7: AutoCal Error $0533

Okay so after my old ecm was shot, I bought a used one from killerbeeperformance. I gave them my vin number and truck info, and they flashed it on there. Truck runs so I assume all of the stuff on their end went well, Im going to assume its a problem on my end. Went to flash my efi live tunes onto my new ecm and I get the $0533 error. Any ideas what would be the issue? I pulled all of the right fuses, and im am about to try passthrough on the computer using V8. Ill see how that goes.

Is this the same tune as before? If so, the AutoCal won't be licensed to your new ECU. Odds are you have to go back to your tuner (or maybe to EFILive directly?) and get another license for the new ECU.

I'm not too familiar with the AutoCal, but I imagine it will cost a bit of money. A full VIN license (not really a VIN license, it actually locks to the ECU serial number) is $125. Maybe the AutoCal is less?

EFILive licensing is based off ECM serial # not VIN, so if the ECM changes then your AutoCal won't flash until a new license is allocated. You will need to contact your tuner for this to be done.

He told me to go to efi lives website and do it. Tune is locked, so I guess its an automated deal
