Would an A5000 / A3000 setup work? or is the A5000 too small?

i would think it would be just a little small, and expensive, exhaust housing is a little too tight also since there sized to be singles

The reason I ask is -I already have the A5000 (which I'll probrobly be stuck with, due to popularity of twins.) and I saw a good deal on the A3000. So, I figured no harm in asking.

what size is your a5k a/r ? i think there was an early small one and a later larger one, what size is the 3000 ? i've never looked into them

As tempting as that is, and now wiping drool from corner of mouth. I think that might be a "Tad" extreme for my mostly stock (rods) motor.

power is all in the tuning.

whats the specs on an a5000? compressor wheel size? turbine size? AR?

71.8 inducer, 100 exducer on the compressor iirc

Not sure if earlier specs are same as newer, It's about 4-5 years old atleast.

You could find a bigger turbine housing for a k31 off an older 60 series Detroit.

I wouldn't think the 5k would be horribly undersized for a bottom charger. I haven't ever see a compressor map for a 5k but they seem to move a fair bit of air.

I believe the A5k moves about 95lbs/min - from the ATS website. There are wastegated turbine housings available for A5k as well.
