I bought an ATS E-Power Tuner for my 04.5 LLY. I've taken out the fuses, made sure the lights, a/c is off ect.. and cant get it to install a tune. It gets stuck on "making changes to your stock settings", I can get engine RPM's, temp, boost, readings. It will do everything else but tune. I called ATS and they sent me another tuner with some tips of what might be blocking it from tuning. I took out my remote starter thinking that might have something to do with it but didnt change a thing. Is there anything else i should look at before sending it back again??
Any help would be awesome.

I ran into this same problem with a PPE on an LMM one time. I called PPE and they suggested I try to tune it with the fuses in and everything like radio, lights and fan off. It worked with the fuses in. Also on my LBZ I've never removed the fuses and programed it countless times over the past 4 years with no problems.

Radio fuses gave trouble to some guys if left in with remotes/ipod addons for some brands it's a catch for getting by when programs are tried. Can't be exact on the brands of acc. but sure makes a problem for tuner users. All electrics off seems safest. Crazy thing is we overlook the fan or dome lites.

Make sure the doors are closed with all accessories off and do not open the doors or have any electrical interferences while tuning. The PPE tuners seem to be super sensitive to those kind of things.

Try it with the fuses in. My truck won't tune if i take the fuses out. There isn't anything wrong with the unit i can tell you that. especially if they sent you a second one and it did the same thing. Have you ever had the truck tuned before?
