Does the ATS pump kit come with a converter flow valve and spring . I called their customer support and they told me it doesn't But the directions I found on the internet show a valve and spring install .
so if i buy a transgo converter flow valve should i use their pressure regulator valve too
I've also heard if you have the transgo valves, not to use a copilot. Some say they dont play well together.
No. You should not use both.
I have first hand experience using the ats pump kit along with the convert flow valve from transgo in my lbz. If you want it to run hot thats the recipe!

i'm pretty sure a bunch of that is the ats pump kit, my ats tranny that came with my truck runs pretty damn hot.

Well running both together makes even more heat. Did this over 2 years ago. When I first did this I drove about 20 miles on the interstate and my temps started at 170 and went to 225 in that amount of time. With the stock lbz cooler the coolest it would run was 225-220 once it got to those temps. Two huge aftermarket coolers and custom piping to make them work kept temps in check. Trans ran that combo for 50,000 miles. Left my hands that way and my friends brother put another 15,000 on it before he sold it for more money than I sold it to him for. I wouldn't run both again in a daily driver like my lbz was. In a track specific truck maybe.
Damn, beat me to it.
I would like to know more specifics on the ATS pressure regulator valve. Was it hollow on one end? The new ones are.
