How many people in here have had problems with the co-pilot?Does anyone know if there is a way to just wire in a switch for the solinoids so its either on full or off,i have had 3 different co=pilots and they all failed.

ATS's Customer service is non existant and no help!

shit your scaring me. Knock on wood I haven't had an issue with my co-pilot. My only complaint is I run it on race all the time and it still doesn't shift real firm, but it is still better than without.

I realize this isn't answering your question, but you might get ahold of BT Diesel in the candy store forum. He has a lock up switch. I can't remember what he sells them for though. It locks the converter or leave it unlocked. Seems like a pretty good gadget to have and better that ATS copilot.

The nice thing about the co pilot is it ups the pump presure from i believe 90 psi to 210 or 230 and gives alot better holding on the clutch plates and fast shifts

When the green light is lit is the only time it locks the TC, not "the hardest" That light just gives you a visual of when the TC is locked. Mine Co Pilot was junk and ATS wanted $250 for a new harness.

Oh i know. The 2 sales guys they got in there if its the same 2 Brian and the other guys name escapes me,but brian is the worst.I had to call up and ask about buying a compound turbo set up just to get the guy to pick up the phone......pretty bad.I think they have some of the nicer stuff but if you have a problem who wants to fight that. The other guy said he shipped out my co pilot and i should have in 5 days or so 3 weeks later i called up hoter then hell i didnt get to talk to him left a message on his voice mail and got it 4 days later. The girl that answers the phone and takes message covers for brian and when you get him he states she never gave him the message, asked 3 times for a call from the owner, nothing.

they stay in business because of all the dodge guys, buddy of mine recently shelled the input shaft in is cummins, called em up and left a message and they called back almost immediately he said, they happened to be going on a family trip out to CO and they said to come on by for a tour of the place, when he got there he said all you saw was jacked up cummins trucks........but i guess it could all be coincidence:rofl:

Look at all the advertisig they do in magazines and on tv shows. The general public doesn't know what is going on and falls for the ads. I tried calling like 6 or 7 times before I got through on the phone with them. My brother had problems with a five star converter that was less than a month old and he had to pay shipping both ways and pay to get it fixed. They said unless we could prove the converter was bad they wouldn't cover it. funny thing was they cut it apart and said it was fine. When we got it back in the truck it acted totally different than the first one.

There is a green light on the co-pilot? I have never seen a green light on mine. I know the converter locks though.

I think they stopped putting the the indicator lights in the newer ones. If you have it you will be able to tell without it even lighting up. Right next to the 4 blue lights youll see a green colored one.

I know, i did get a call from ATS today and i was told they cleaned house of the bad people and the customer is # 1 again and they told me what to look for and said they would discount parts and were deicaded to making things rite I ABOUT FELL OFF THE COUCH!!!! The truck is not running at the moment but i will be checking on things and Chris is the new tech,i talked with him today and he said whatever it is he will work with me till its fixed.I told him i hope this wasnt a band aid on a squeeky wheel but a sign of things to come for everyone in the future. We shall see and i will keep this thread updated as to progress. For now i believe they are trying to turn things around and i will stay positive about any future dealings.:thumb:
