ATS 5 Star Funny Noises

SOOOOOO...... I threw in an ATS 5 Star TC and right from new I get funny noises at idle-no load and when I am coasting (also no load). They go away when in gear and foot on brake or when I have a load on it. It sounds like Tin rubbing on Tin if you can picture what that sounds like. Or take two license plates and rub them together (I was told that sometimes this can also bring good luck!!!!)

Anyhow it's an 07 6 speed. Anybody have a thought as to WTF could be making that noise?? It drives fine.

Well pressures all tested good. Everything is normal except the noise. ATS says run it, or send it back so they can check it at my shipping expense. Most likely wouldn't be warrantied they say unless it packs it in.

I guess that's what the 3 year warranty is for.

Dammit. Just got rid of my noisey FASS and p/u a noisey TC. I just can't win!!

What a bunch of BS. I'm not going to go on a big bash rant but from my own personal previous experiences, ATS's customer service blows. They will stand by their warrany, but.... (see previous sentence).

Unfortunately, after I ordered it, I had other people tell me this as well. I would have went Suncoast. But they were slow to get back to me when I asked them some questions and ATS was right away so I bought ATS.
