LLY: ATS 3k on my 05 lly

I have an 05 lly with a stock turbo on it and i just got a smokin deal on an new ATS 3k. it comes with a pedestal, braided ss oil feed line and a return line. My questions are will the return oil tube work or not because it was intended for an lb7? also where could i get an IC pipe? And would my factory intake work? (i have the lbz mouthpiece) And lastly would my diamond eye 3" down pipe work with this turbo? Any help would be appreciated im just looking to get this stocker out of here! Thanks, Brayden

Isn't a a3k smaller than stock?

I don't think so, it just came from Area Diesel and they have checked it and it measures 65.5mm after it was re built and finished. Its suppose to push around 40-42 psi max

I personally would go the S366 route.

the 3k is a 58mm? turbo only thing that would be better is spool up compared to the stocker

any T3 turbo iirc 4088 is t4

Get a t3 s366 like a HTT or a II silver bullet. Henry at creatures of the night will get you what you need just tell him what you want out of the truck.

I had a 3000 before i when with the s366. I just drilled and tapped the t3 pedestal to bolt on to the t4. That was a out of the box BW S366 with .91 ar from area diesel. Yes the oil return line will work on a LLY.

How did the 3000 do on your truck when it was on there? And what kind of boost numbers did you make?

I had it on my truck for like a day, before I blew my engine and put the s366 on. The truck ran good with stock fuel, and it was not tuned (had a edge juice with attitude). I have no clue how much boost it was running...

I know quite a few Dodge guys like to use it in a compound setup. On a Duramax it is a very reliable stock replacement type charger. I wouldn't look to it for much more than that and is actually a bit smaller IIRC. In case anyone is wondering the exact specs... Here ya go
