Astrostart and EFI Live

Do these two jive ok?


Long story short, I have no more remote keyless entry and my only key(s) for my truck are in the truck. So I am getting it unlocked and then I have to decide what I want to do about the keyless entry. I have always wanted remote start (promote my laziness even further ) and figure now is as good a time as any to do this since I'll, at a min., need new remote lock actuators.

So, surely someone with Astrostart also has EFI Live and can comment on its compatibility with each other.

Someone had a problem with it. I don't know if it is the norm though.

might want to look up Max Power on the DP he sells Astro Start and is an EFI user

I have it and I have no problems!! I even hooked it up to my high idle!!! It sure makes those cold winter mornings nicer!!!

yes i have one to, i really should of got it through MAX POWER in the first place being he was in Canada

but he showed me how to hook it up through the wait to start wire

i ended up re-doing everthing because the guys that installed it did a terrible job

Jeff what do you mean you have it hooked to the high idle?


Also,I do always get this code though been meaning to figure out why?

I used the "trunk open" button and hooked it to the cruise control switch, so all I have to do is push it twice in the morning and voila! high idle!!!

i would like to be able to roll the windows up if we could do that,on one of the buttons?

ya, just ask max power which wire to tap into, these alarm systems are so versatile its crazy. -Jeff
