Ok 2 things
i bought the socal flexplate to include into my trans build(more for loss of rotating mass than for strength), i dont know if the bolts shipped with the new trip disc tc, are compatable (length and head clearance) with a billet flexplate? Anyone? Mike says he uses the socal?

For the love of god, can someone please make a trans cooler(ppe like) here in the usa? These things are constantly on back order from sweeden or some chit.
People come on, import sweedish women, build american trans coolers

Call guy and ask him about the bolts.
Call Mike L and talk to him about his transmission coolers. Problem solved in less than 5 minutes

The converter should come with new bolts and if I recall correctly the socal flex plate shouldn't affect the bolt lenght

6 speed coolers will be here in Aug. No one else can make them to my specs. As far a converter bolts with the SoCal billet flex plate, use the gold bolts from Allison. They are .032 longer than most bolts supplied.

I know it is a fine piece, but there is only one source/supplier that can match your specs/price point per unit?
Im not complaining.
That sucks!

Mike does not construct the coolers himself, it would be nice if an american company would step up to meet mikes demand. Thats all.
For now we wait.

If you'd choose quality over quantity you'd choose European.

I notice you said backordered from Sweden. If that's where mikes are made, they're going to be better than most American companies could do , and affordable with good qc.

I know I ramble a lot about European quality, ingenuity and style, but its all true in many areas. They have to be on the leading edge over there because.of the fierce competition. American companies have laid back and accepted a lazy "too big to fail" motto. Screw the customer there's only a couple big players in every industry. Europe has tense competition with workers who assume responsibility. They don't have negligence lawsuits over there for people trying to milk a company for millions because they didn't warn you that a saw could cut you. They spend far less money "babying" their employees along and therefore can meet our expectations of quality and value. Most of their stuff is more money but for good reason. Fendt tractors, Claas Choppers, Volvo construction, Knipex tools, etc etc. The list goes on. While GM may have been the largest company in volume, VAG shattered them when you looked at the largest company by profit. VAG products are well built too as many know. We have 3 in our family, my 00 TDI's with 260,000, an 06 TDI's and an 06 A6 Audi. Talked to a guy that just bought a new TDI Jetta. $21,000. That's value, every year they bring their prices down some.

Sorry for the long rant, I'm just often bothered by people who are blinded inti thinking Americans are the top standard, especially those who feel European is inferior.
