ARP Studs

Dont know if Im in the right forum or should be in DIY Install but here goes. Im changing head gaskets on my truck. Already tore it apart and have ARPs coming. Do the 4 small head bolts on each side need to be replaced? I dont really know what they are for and I dont know if they are TTY bolts? Thanks.

They have a specific TQ rating, IIRC somewhere around 18 ft lbs, but im not 100% sure They don't need to be replaced, their not head bolts.

The ARP kit will come with 8 new ones

IIRC, stands for "If I remember correctly".

They do not need to be replaced unless they got damaged somehow. Depending on who you got your ARP kit from it may, or may not include new bolts.

Most new arp kit come with the 8 mm bolts. The old ones from Gm are said to be replaced but I have reused them myself also stock bolt tq is 18ftlb tge arp is 25 on the 8 mm.
