LB7: Arp head studs

Looking for some info regarding arp head studs.By the looks of it my truck has had gaskets before and just wondering if there is any way to tell if it has arp studs in it already.I believe the arp's are 12 point head but do the oem's look the same?I am doing injectors soon and want to do it all at once,Also can studs be done without doing the hg or is that just asking for trouble?Thanks in advance

Factory head bolts look like bolts and headstuds look like studs with a fastener... The nuts say ARP on them iirc.

Not sure,Have not pulled vc's yet.Its a 02 lb7 .are the oem bolts and arp's stud's with nut's?

look on the outside at the bottom of the valve covers there are 4 head bolts outside the valve cover

You should still be able to see if they are arp's or factory bolts without pulling covers off. Oem are bolts, arp's are studs with nuts. They say arp on the nut

Thanks for the good info guy's,I'l don't have them.Cafryer has a set of studs i'l be getting for when I do my 80% overs and grade c's.

Arps will have a little allan head hole in the middle of stud also.
