A a5k will only move enough air to reach 800 - 850 hp the Gt4202 will support up to 1200 hp. A a5k is just a pulling turbo.
A funny thing about this is i just made every word up it sounded good didnt it
Tommy IIRC a5k is a t3 flange
and dont you still have your t4?
myself i would go with the GT JMHO
i dont have the 94 any more so need pedstal and what not
not really as im looking for some real info to make a decesion to put my motr back together not nonsense thansk anyways
Tommy! you are a turbo tester A T3 will limit what you can test.
If you do go with a a5k I would buy a t4 pedistall and a crossover flange to t3 for futre swaps
That one you posted is a journal bearing. Nothing to 'jump on'. They can be had at that price all day long. If you want to go big, LETS GO BIG BIG!
Hello Mr. Firewall, you and my B.F.H. are about to get real friendly.

oops, guess you'll need a T6 pedestal. Anyone want to build one?
money is a issue at this point i dont think twins are in the near futureTommy just go with the twins and your cheetah. You will get much better drivability, and with the cheetah you can run the larger charger which I believe is similiar to the 42, maybe even bigger. That way you can be 1000rwhp all day long with great driveability and low drive pressure.
Go BIG or go home.......
There has already been a couple of 4202R's installed on LMM's. No messaging the firewall needed. Get the ball bearing/watercooled.
How much power do you want to make is the simple question. We can go bigger then a std 4202R if you want? There is no way a regular 45 or 47 will fit with out some serious mods to the truck (can you says body lift????).
