Okay I had a different thread on this but now a new problem.

GOt the truck back from the mechanic not running. I got it running by changing the Crank sensor. Mechanic put 8 new bosh injectors in and a new ECM (that it didn't need $700.00)

It starts now but only revs to about 1200 RPM. than it cluts out and sounds like it misses. All the rail pressures and that stuff is right on the money. The balance rates are off at idle but it still idles good with no smoke. We put a different FICM on it and did the same thing. Tore it down to the injectors to check for wire connections for a short but that all looked okay some of the wires on the injectors were not on them straight but straightened those out and reassembled. still have the same results.

I also changed the cam sensor just for good measure.

Any suggestions ????? Any one want this thing? Make me an offer.....LOL

Have you ever heard of someone getting bad injectors new from Bosh?

After it warms up and is driven around the shop it gets a codes of p0203,0205,0208,0202 And I don't remember the code number but it is injector control group 2

You have 8 brand new injectors and the balance rates are off ? I have heard of perhaps one or two bad Reman injectors but never all 8 . Sounds like who ever is doing the work did something incorrect. What did the high pressure lines look like were any of them replaced?

Balance rates are out of spec on six. Lines looks good. I think it is a wiring issue????

No disrespect to the shop or mechanic but do you have the paper work that proves they were brand new from bosch?

Also in your other post did you mention anything about the FICM or the FICM wiring?

Yes used a ficm from a friends truck. Same results.

Gm tech checked the injectors balance rates and said six were out of spec but said that is rare with new Bosh injectors. How far out I didn't ask. My Msecs are perfect for all the injectors. Did and ohms test on the harnesses going into the valve covers to the injectors and all came out the same .4 ohms. So no short there. The gm tech said possible wiring problem somewhere else.

Otta time and outta money with this thing so stuff is happening really slow now.

Oh yeah my patience was gone along time ago. I just want it to run to get it gone.

Thanks for your input. When/if we ever figure it out I'll let you know. If you have any more Ideas let mem know they are much appreciated.....

The other code is P2149 Possitive voltage control group 2.

Well I would say the out of spec is driven by whatever is shorting out/not grounding, recheck all the grounds (take them off and clean them-all of them there are a few) then start running over every wire that runs to the FCIM
