If the head and block and prepped correctly there should be no need for the spray sealer , I could see how that may contribute to a failure if surface prep is under pare ?
I used felpro HG gaskets in my 2005 Viper and they call for no spray sealer ? leaked like a bitch , they covered another set , but I followed the manufacture directions and sprayed them , and no problem after . I do not see anywhere that GM recommends spraying them ? so I think it would be a personnel experience thing , but if guys are running 700 + plus horse power on stock GM gaskets in stalled dry I see no use for the spray either ? just my opinion ,
