Question: Are there any 9 sec duramax's

After viewing another site I see there seems to be a few 9 sec goats . I would love to hear about our duramax's in that area . I have always been a die hard chevy guy sence I was kid . Back a few yrs ago I bought a 00 dodge gasser ( big time POS ) worst move I ever made .Now I have 04 lb7 and love it .:)

There's a tube chassis 90 something model Dmax powered Chevy pickup called Dirtymax in the 9s on fuel. The Spruills have an LB7 EC/SB 2500HD that runs 9s on spray. Then of course there is the Banks drag truck that runs 7s.

The Spruill truck has ran 9 second ET's 9's are a lot different than 10's. To be honest there aren't very many Dodges in the 9's either. The Stuckey truck(Dodge) and I believe Orange Crush have ran 9's

JMO but unless the motor was an option in the truck it doesn't count in my book. I can bolt a set of tires to the flexplate and harmonic balencer, put a wheelie bar on it and cut it loose down the track and maybe run a 9.....does that count?:D

They did but weigh 4200lbs
Keiths truck did 10.20s before nuking the tranny
Banks truck is the most exotic setup going
Dirtymax runs 9s but is a tube chassis, don't know the weight
Buck has the most 9 second runs & last I heard was running 6 flats in the 1/8th
& we'll see what Pat does with the new setup

well the claim was about 4 of them I think .the last one was 9.68 @140 something .Gaw dodge is all i got for info . rc lb with no cage that has to have a a cage now and was with stock internals (hard to believe)looked like a dd. dont get me wrong im noooooooo goat fan . might be a good motor but wraped in poopoo.

i'm with you on this one there are several dmax motors that have the power for 9's in that light of a chassis , but to do it with a real 3/4 ton truck is something else .

On a side note. I just drove Casper around and I wanted to know who put those stinking gauges in my eye sight :mad: I don't want look at them :rofl:

Seems I just need to find a piece of thick foam to put it the seat so I don't have to look at them :joker:
