Could someone please measure the little coolant holes diameter at the top side of the cylinder? I've got a custom set of gaskets that look very small, I don't see how water will flow good thanks

Okay thanks wonder why there so small? Cause I was like wtf when I saw them so I spent like 2 hours opening up the holes to prolly 3/8" to try and match the head and block ports

Also on the front sides there is a oval/rectangle port that's blocked. But on the rear it's open, even on the stock gaskets. Why is that? I opened that one up too. Hopefully it's not to keep turbulence out where it exits the bridge to the thermostat

The holes are designed for coolant flow. Opening them up may prevent proper flow causing excess heat in one or more cyliners/heads.

These are just my speculations. But the way I see if is that they made the holes in the locations and sizes that are what is needed.

Yeah your right I found some real world experience on another sight about this... And the reason they block holes are so big is to get all the sand out from pouring the block. I better through the other set of gaskets on it.
