anyone running a Kennedy boost valve lb7

Hey i got a ppe valve but now won't go over 25 lbs with the new wheel.. so either a Kennedy valve or new waste gate??

Is the Kennedy valve the same as PPE's? Sounds like you need to go with a Big Head wastegate or a set of vise-grips. :eek:


Some guys have used a fish tank air bleeder think-a-ma-jig that is adjustable believe it or not. Cheap and effective :D

Yes Dan it still smokes not a lot but its a good haze and totaly stock truck lift pump and new stock injectors and a hot tune now its popping the waste gate at 26lbs unhooked wg and let off at 34lbs so i wanna regulate it at 32

I've had a valve Teed into the waste gate line for years. The valve has always been wide open :woott: with the old tuner and even now with the twins and a race tune. I'm hitting 50 psi and never had a problem.

I know that with the 7.3 Ford's when you do an aftermarket wheel it sometimes will result in a loss of boost, yet have a decent power gain. It's b/c the air the moving more efficently through the charger and requires less boost to make more power. I would bet the map on the turbo now is much different than it was before.

I would try the vice grips though if you do wanna see an instant difference.
