My built long block is underway so looking to get 800rwhp on fuel only or very close. On their site and from what I’ve read seems this might be a good turbo to run on the street and still tow some etc ??

I like the idea of being able to use stock location and all my current WCF piping etc. I’d like to have a good setup that will support around 800hpbon fuel and then be able to spray it to 950-1000hp.

I’m open to suggestions or ideas.

Josh (chaves91) played with one in testing. It runs hard but it’s laggy compared to stock. You can tow on a box stock s472 too, just need rpm to do it. Waiting on him to quit dicking around with fords before he does a spool test

I’ve been contemplating making this same move on my chevelle, to the DT67.7. Diesel technology source (DTS) makes one as well, 67.7 in a stock looking ihi and they claim over 800rwhp as well. Also states that it spoils just as fast as stock if not faster.... I’d like to be around 800rwhp but have very little info on either one of these..... maybe a few other will chime in on their experience.

Would love to see track times back up there claims. Look at Katies truck. Blew up social media with her twin set up claiming 1000+ hp. But track slips beg to differ. Both companies above are a joke.

That’s what I’m afraid of, all talk and no actual performance. I’m not 100% where I am as far as rwhp with my current combo but do have a consistent 10.90 car @122. I’d like to see that improve and think an extra 200rwhp would be significantly noticeable. It spools fast now but just doesn’t charge on top as I would like it too.

I can tell you they will not spool as fast as stock, that’s a fact. I’m just curious how close it is though

Why not port and polish your IHI and change your 75 to an 80. You will spool much better and if you port the wastegate it’ll feed the big turbo better

I have pnp housings and billet compressor wheels (on both turbos). Not opposed to the 80, just looking for the best bang for the buck, you know.

I'm pretty sure there is a video of them running the g2 in the old square body Chevy. Think it was low 12's.

My expirences with Duramax tuner have been positive. The one expirence I have with the other was not so much, clearances for trans kit were scribbled on a piece of note book paper and were WAY off. Converter was questionable enough builder said come get it and bring me a real kit... Lol...

You matched the turbine ports to the up pipes? If so you will probably get a lot more lag with an aftermarket turbo.

Gotta make them 17 -18 Fords Full Fuel. Definitely was one fun project.

You're gonna be impressed with the data James. Got the Stock LLY spool numbers the other night. Now to just process the data to spreadsheets and you can drool over them. :roflmao:
