Super diesel sounds like it would be fun but I'm not a fan of heads up racing. I was born into ET racing. Do you think they'll give me a hard time if I don't have a battery disconnect switch? And it looks like if I run faster than a 12 I'll need metal valve stems. I wonder how hard they will be teching

lol. Sounds like the opposite of me. :D

I haven't had any issues with the tech there.

I haven't had anything looked at there. They make sure nothing is loose and set ya free. I don't have any safety equipment & raced last year in basketball shorts and a tank top.

That's good to hear. I wasn't looking forward to dropping another hundred bucks into the truck to race. I'm going o go to Osceola Friday night and figure out how the truck is going to run. The super diesel class does sound fun, but I've never left off a pro tree so there might be a little learning curve there.

Not to Hijack this, but since the OP brought up the Pro tree, I was curious on How you guys time it? I sat at TS and watched these guys pull the line and was amazed on how some never popped a red.

I will be heading out to race. Super diesel is an index race, not heads up. It is a lot of fun.
