Anyone have factory wheels widened?

I like my PYO'S but need something wider and i dont like any newer wheel styles out there. Anyone ever had them widened?

I had contacted Weldcraft a long while ago about that, and they said they could not do it b/c PY0s are forged wheels. Maybe things have changed since then? Guess you need to email some places and ask if they can now.

Are you wanting a wider 16” for drag racing or just for taller tires? These trucks have a very welcoming heart for H2 wheels.

I have contacted weldcraft also, was told it was possible just not cheap. Was wanting to see if anyone has gone that route and with what results.

I had a set of H2’s with 35”s on the the truck for a long time with no lift. They are double the weight of the factory wheels and a good bit heavier than most aftermarket wheels. Thats why I took them off. Looking for a lighter tire and wheel combo.

Yes wider wheel for the street and drag racing.

There was somebody that did a set up in Dallas but I don’t remember who it was. They looked really good.

I’ll probably do it once I get the engine and trans back in. I just really don’t like any aftermarket wheels out nowadays, I think it would be a unique look.

I would talk to a machine shop and see what they could do for you. I think a lot of it would depend on how much wider you wanted to go and where you wanted to add the width.
