just looking to see if anyone has any comments on them, good, bad, or indefferent. just wanted a different option other than auto meter and there steper motor gauges. i know theres others, but these are kinda growing on me

i used them in my old STi....some of the best gauges ever made IMO.

I'd have em now, but most of the boost gauges don't read high enough.

Like I said they are VERY nice gauges, with recordable features....but they are pricey.

thats kinda what i was reading on them. they have some fancy ones that are linkable, but these are not. after some simple searching on the interweby i found them for about the same price as auto meters. i like these because when you power them off you cant see the gauge face.

i just wanted to make sure they are good. as in accurate and have a good life span

They are very good, but they don't give them away by any means. At least you are getting something for the money though...

IMO autometer / isspro etc. are all ok gauges, but really could be better quality wise.

I've had the best luck using Japanese brands like HKS, Apexi, GReddy etc. Just sucks because a lot of them are only available in Celsius, Bars, kpa, etc. Takes a bit to get used to it.

I have a whole fleet of these little gems going in as soon as the friggin weather lightens up...http://propartsllc.com/ I'm using a oil pressure gauge for my combined boost, the highest spek goes is 60. I like the play back features & the ability to control things like nitrous, lock up switches etc.

seems like there are some other much cheaper gauges out there that look just like them. still havent found anything bad about defi other than price. for anyone thats been around defi, there stepper motors work just like the auto meters? i just got my first auto meter egt gauge and hate it. have a faze egt gauge in the pull truck and its real smooth, hate the choppy stepper motor crap.

bit the bullet. got a couple ordered for the pull truck and still had money burning a hole in my pocket and got another one for the "tow" truck. just got everything installed on it and have a few pics. for starters, defi nailed the brightness perfectly!!! i have some super duper bright autometer gauges and hated night driving with them. i have 2 pics, one is day time and the one is night time. even the day time light is not too bright for night driving. the other problem i had was getting a company to either respond to me on a timely manor and not change the prices, or even respond. tried 4 different companys. had super luck with alex goodwin at www.motionlabtuning.com.

enjoy
