now for the killer its coming outta that front drip dole between the adapter plat and bellhousing of the trans? if its the rear main why would it leak only when driving are the thrust bearings letting it move i just dont see how it doesnt leak just idleing?

Probably has to do with the constant raised oil pressure while driving. Only problem areas back there are the turbo oil drain, rear main, and where the adapter plate where it meets the upper oil pan. What kind of sealant did you use?

Most rear mains will leak all the time. I doubt that's your issue. You could have residual oil from when you had turbo drain issues. Have you made sure there is no oil in the valley. It could be the forward movement of the truck causing the oil to drain back.

it could be the momentum from ur truck when you move forward it sloshes back making it high enough to leak out where the hole in the rear main seal is? try going in reverse lol that or extra turbulence from the crank at higher rpms:confused:

When you installed the rear main seal did you use any sealer or loctite around the metal ring to the crank shaft. That's were most of the leaks come from back there.

Just before installing the rear main seal we take a finger and wipe the loctite around the metal ring and a hair on the crank shaft just were it seats. The LB7 did not leak at idle only after he drove it we bad to fix the oil pump from the gear spinning on the shaft so we replaced the rear seal and added sealer that fixed it.
