Well not knowing what they are cant tell you if its a fair price or not. But I doubt they are ripping you off..... Did they say how much the plows/parts were without labor?

What size blades? It seems like a crazy number. 10' power angle should be in the 5-6k range 7 at most. Now if there central hydraulics thats alot more, post the specs of what they are giving.

Poly is overrated IMHO. Its actually heavier than a steel blade due to the frame needed to support it, and more expensive to buy. I run 8' steel Boss blades on my 05 and 06. Most the trucks I plow with run 9' steel Fisher blades. None of the guys I run with would use a poly blade, and none of them have meyers.
For plowing roads I would not reccommend Meyers. We used them when we plowed commercially, but for plowing roads I use Boss. I would have gone to Fisher, but im not a fan of trip edge, and my local guy doesnt stock parts for Fisher. Before your department buys plows talk to some of the other departments and find out what they run. The township takes 10-15 minutes to hang a plow, I can have mine on in less than 5. Depending on what Meyers mount you go with our old plows were a PITA.

save yourself the trouble and go western....thought about grabbing some used setups and fabbing them up $35k is going to take you a while to recuperate plowing:eek:

that's very high, no1 in Ga is going to know how to install them anyway. Meyer is very antiquated. I would hang a 10' western on them and call it a day. I wouldnt pay more than 7,000 installed.
