Are they a good pump to run. I was looking at a ppe and they seem not to last. Is the raptor about the same or any better?

From what I have read the raptor is a good pump. I don't need it and I perfer a quiet truck so I'm going with a different option. The raptor does make some noise but notas much as a fass.
Running one and it is so noisey it drives you nutz. It has to have rubber isolators on it's mounting pts. It pumps OK and that but the other option for better money and service and vendor buys is Kennedy's real quiet and he will kit you up on your needs. Not one bitch anywhere on Kennedy's pumps I have seen in yrs. of reading so that's not bad. It's better deal on the Kenn. kit from this view if done again.
my raptor shit the bed this morning at -5*F had to by pass it and cover my hands in freezing diesel.
only had it a little over a year. will be calling for info on the warranty tomorrow....

Check the screen inlet on yours. Mine clogged and the pump starting getting louder then the truck would lose fuel pressure and die.
I thought it was a pass through pump??
Mine has been good to me for 9 months now though FWIW
