I bought a set of 2 LHJ011 for my 2005 truck, and neither will program. My OEM remote will still program, so I know I'm following the steps correctly. I sent them an email and a video I took showing my steps, just curious if anyone else has had issues with anything purchased from them and how it was resolved.

Found an auto parts store with a key fob tester. The fobs are supposed to continue transmitting as long as the button is pushed, correct? See video below...the OEM remote from my 2011 is first, then I test the new ones I got for my 2005. The new ones for the 05 look like they transmit for a split second when the button is pushed, then stop transmitting.

I just bought from keylessking for a 2008. zero issues, it worked the first time. I bought one for my 07 classic off ebay, pretty sure from them, and it worked perfectly the first time too.

Sounds like it weak batteries or a bad connection inside it somewhere?

I tested batteries this morning, one was 3.05 volts and the other was 3.2, so they are fine (supposed to be 3v). Bad connection is a possibility. Waiting to hear back from these guys, they replied early this morning to my first email, but I haven't heard back since I answered their questions.

I'm facepalming myself over here on their responses so far. At least they are responding I guess...but clearly are not reading or comprehending what I'm telling them....

I just got a new set of LHJ011 remotes for my 2005 Silverado from you today. I am not able to program these remotes.

These were bought under the name Chris Wessel on eBay auction 111100124686, transaction 1079953636001.

I have one OEM remote that I am able to successfully program, so I know that I'm entering the programming sequence correctly. Here's a video I took to show the steps I took:

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hi,

I did try the entire 5 minutes with both remotes. Neither of them would program.

I just took the key fobs down to a parts store that has a tester. My OEM remote transmits the whole time I have the button pressed, but the new ones I got only transmit for a split second and stop, even when I keep holding the button down. Could this be part of the issue?

you have purchased the wrong remote, your truck is the new body style and you purchased the old body style remote (this is noted in the item description)

this is the reason it is not working (notice how the part numbers and look are different)

here is the correct remote you may return the incorrect one for a refund

The truck in question is a 2005. The first remote in the video I posted was for reference only to show how the tester was working, it's from my 2011 truck. I understand the difference between the two. I am trying to program the LHJ011 remotes that I bought from you to my 2005 Silverado. The part number matches the OEM remote that I have for the 2005, so I know I purchased the correct ones.
