Question: Any use or have any opinions of using scheid's racing diesel fuel?

I live in a place, and not sure if anywhere is any different but I can never be guaranteed of the quality of fuel I'm getting at the pump. So been curious about scheid's fuel, but before I shell out a grand for a barrel of it would like to hear more opinions.
Thanks in advance!

Lots of cetane and lots of lubrication additive. Worth $20 a gallon? Probably not.

ALSO... 5-6 years ago I bought Haisleys 3 part additive $150 if I remember correctly it came with a gallon of "Cetane" and 1 lubrication additive that was petrol based and one that was soy based.

Are you getting water in your pump fuel? Is the truck competition only?

Never ran it, but I've been around it. It's some serious stuff, not sure what all they use but IIRC they don't include a lubricity additive and you need to run your own. To squeeze every last drop of HP its worth it, and helps with starting on cold low compression engines.

Maybe buy a barrel of it, and mix it with some bio diesel.

Diesel fuel is highly "hygroscopic" meaning it will readily absorb water from the air...
If you're storing this fuel for any length of time, I would not suggest spending that kind of coin on it... Cheezus, if you're daily driving it I wouldn't spend that kind of coin on it either
