Any tips for powder coating with orange?

Trying to find the right orange to powder coat my intercooler pipes. Tried a couple different oranges and haven’t been really happy. Just not vibrant enough. Been looking around at YouTube and found a few vids where they base coat with white, could that be what I’m missing? Thanks for any input.

My engine is done in Illusion Orange (Prismatic Powders) and I couldn't be happier. These pictures do not do it justice.

I’m just trying to get the orange to really pop. Think I’m gonna try a white base coat.
