How sweet would it be if sombody in California made them! Driving to Idaho sounds rough.

Doug at PPE told me it's a GT42R on top with a GT55 on bottom? We probably wont hear back any results until they get the motor back from David.

so cal
yea i have seen those on joes truck and its a big charger he was making some big numbers whn the motor finally poped a few weeks ago. i dont think it will work for the lmm as the routing is diffrent just like mpi kit. joe said that unless the motor was built he wold not recomend this kit to any one as it would be a quick end to a stock motor.

Hope I'm speaking out of place.

Talked to Dan a week or so ago, he said it squashed the rods. I saw it a few months ago, it looked like a 55 but what do i know.

Appeared as though it would take a grown man and a boy to pick it up and get it into he truck!! :joker:

Hopefully they'll be done soon, I took everything off the passenger side of the engine bay in several weeks ago. I could go twin or satick with a mid size single.

Back on topic- I searched for some time and nobody came to the front, however that was 4 months ago roughly.

Definetly cool Mick, but something bugs me - there has to be a reason that the diesel world went away from the SC. After the 8V92 DDEC3 Detroit, I don't know of anyone that used them offhand. Everybody went turbo. Was it reliability? Efficiency?
I hope you really test the hell outta this Mick-I am truly interested.
My thoughts of what would be ideal is a twin turbo-not compound-fed by a single SC. I think that is going to be the way of the future.

I was hoping the twins from PPE would work with the GT4094 but looks like there only going to be for the stock VVT and the GT42 guys,Wounder how a Paxton Novi2000 Race super chager would work with my gt4094 Mick

Those Novi 2000 are some charger. Know a guy with one on BBC. I dont know about the 40 being big enough - why dont you try it. Im favouring the Prochargers for Centrifugal Chargers, they have a 5.3 (app) internal ratio and have self contained oil system which means no oil feed/return lines

Dale, that 8V92 is a supercharged/turbocharged 2 stroke engine. The positive displacement charger on that thing really packs a punch with heat. The supercharger is for starting that diesel engine, then becomes a compound setup as boost from the turbocharger increases. We really can't compare the two. That supercharger is way inefficient because of the job it has to do to get the 2 stroke engine started. We really are going to give this setup a round or two to see what can be made of it.
