Doomsday Bunkers?

Man there is some paranoid people out there! I can understand their concerns but the majority already live in secluded areas. Then who wants to live like a mole?

Some are spending big bucks also. I also wonder if they will actually walk the talk. Shoot kill bury on site? Don't get me wrong I would defend my property and family like anyone would! Believe me.

One way in one way out. The need for a generator which runs on fuel of some sort where is the 6 month supply? Ventilation shaft no mention yet of tampering.

I do-no.

That one guy spent $450,000 on his bunker. I think of it like the guy who builds those bunkers doesn't need to really believe in what he sells becasue he found a niche market full of people willing to drop big money...so he plays along. :D

I under stand the whole prep thing but the need to spend a half a million? I think that they are putting more faith in fool proof then what is reality.

If you had a pack of looting criminals which will have weaponry ,don't fool yourself cut off electricity to the bunker park a vehicle on the hatch toss chemicals into the ventilation your trapped where is your half a mill now?

The biggest necessity is secrecy to your bunker location. But this isn't something that you can prep a site and move such a large object without gaining attention. People talk lets face it and like they say you could picnic with your neighbor one day and the next shoot him in your front yard if a catastrophic event(s) happen!

The guy building them is getting rich on the Preper's paranoia thats for-sure!

So do I, but some of these people are taking it to the extreme. What is stopping all your neighbors that you look down on for NOT prepping like you do, from banding together and then killing your entire family and taking over your bunker? Nothing....

Caught an episode the other day. It is funny how much people spend. I loved how the one family had the kid helping collect seeds, you can tell that kid has already been brainwashed.

I did find it funny though how the guy was talking about competition in the bunker building business, didn't know there was such a large market to warrent multiple places to build them.

Exactly nothing. Either the neighbor ,the cement guy,the guy who dropped off the excavator, or the guy who dropped off the bunker or the 10 people they told each about it and the ten people they tell to so on and so. In about a year I'll know where the bunker is myself!!! :roflmao:

What is it they say that you are 3 people away from knowing anyone? Like for instance my daughters pediatrician knows Sharon Stone. So in theory I know Sharon Stone! What sucks is I could have really meet her if I wanted to. Never did

Anyway that is why I think secrecy what secrecy? So it's stupid to spend that kind of money IMO. They already had a incident where someone stole a generator.

True it's like a colt drink the cool-aid! Now that they have gone public now unfortunately the government will get involved now. They will want to regulate the building so they are PROTECTING the public.

IMO they are TRAPS ,one way in one way out? Myself I'd build a exit tunnel I wouldn't want to be trapped in there.

They are dumb IMO opinion to go public with a TV show anyway. They look real easy to build. Hell you could buy a couple two three shipping containers and bury them at a huge savings. Cut in some hallways a shoot with some steps and a hatch done for probably a quarter of the money!

Seems to me like most of them have more money than sense.

That goes with out saying you are 100% correct!

The shipping container idea is perfect. I've seen whole houses built out of them above ground so why not under.
