Is there a way to see if one is a single or triple without cutting it open?

Does it have a "billet" cover ? Brand ? I dont know of any other way unless you have a brand and maybe the part #is etched on it , or maybe 3D will be etched on face of it it like the Suncoast units ?

I'm not sure what you mean Mike. do you mean an adapter. Sorry for the semi dumb question. When I really got to looking at the pics I wasn't sure if mine was infact a Precision of Hampton single, it has a solid ring for the bolts instead of lugs. I thought just maybe I go lucky and it was a triple. No such luck, I called and they confirmed it was a single of theirs. I called PI and they said I could use it as a core but not a simple refresh. Not a big deal, I only paid 300 for it delivered. I'm going to put the truck together and cross my fingers. I'm rebuild it when I get more time and money, we all say that right.:spit:
