A few days ago was having a e shift solenoid problem with my transmission and now thanks to mike directing me in the right direction that problem is solved. Now I have a G solenoid problem or so it say's P2810, my question would be where would this code be coming from when it's a LB7? I have a 6 prong internal harness and the trans is a early 2001 LB7 so where is this coming from? I have read in other responces that the G solenoid was introduced in the LLY and 8.1 so I would really like to know if it is something that can be turned off with EFI or will it hurt something in trans if it is just left alone. Please put me on the right track with this As I have had nothing but trouble with this. Thanks in advance

I would guess it to be a TCM problem. The code can cause the engine to run rough and have some weird shifting issues.

Mike, thanks again

now that you mention it I totally forgot that I switched out TCM's to a LLY TCM and forgot to change it back. I will try and put back in the LB7 TCM and I would guess that will fix it.

Hey guys, I have an '04 2500HD with the '04.5 LLY Duramax, two times in the last couple months I have been driving down a flat road and it shuts off, and throws several codes. All eight injector codes and 2 others a p2146 and a p2149. Every time I switch out my fuel pump relay and prime my fuel filter and it fires up. I'm not convinced that it's just my relays, cuz when I put the relay in another spot (like the high beam slot) it works fine. Plus I've tested them and they are good. Any ideas?
