For the record, I did do a search and did read the threads talking about this but some of the symptoms were a bit different than mine so I wanted to get clarification before I start dropping $ to try and solve the problem.

So this is my story:

Shortly after installing the Dual Fueler, I started to get a squeak. I first noticed it while going on an on-ramp turning right. I heard a slight squeak from what seemed to be the driver side of the engine bay. From there it just got worse. Now, when cold, it squeaks at idle and all throughout the RPM range. When it heats up, the only place it will squeak is 2100-2400rpms which was a killer for me because i hauled a golfcart for 240 miles at that rpm. The "pattern" of the squeak is pulsing, I think is the best way to put it. For example it seems to squeak once per belt revolution. Sometimes it will squeak several times per belt revolution. I've been reading on several threads and been seeing that it could be: the idler, the tensioner, the belt, the belt rubbing on something, the a/c bearings, or the CP3 itself. I've tried everything from soap to wd-40 (which was before I found out it was a no-no). The squeak will go away for a few miles then come back again, sometimes worse. I'll spray it off with water to get all the 'contaminants' off and once it dries it will go back to the normal squeak. Its getting to the point that I'm trying to stay away from 2100-2400 rpms to not hear the squeak.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Try a Gator back? Try realine the cp3 mount? And possible belt tensioner

I couldnt find a correct gatorback for our truck with dual fueler.

Mine squeeaked like crazy, PPE fixed it for me and it only lasted about a week and it went back to squeeking. Everything seemes to be inline so I dont know what to do. Its annoying.

How long is the belt?
Maybe try a Dayco belt?

IIRC there was a TSB on llys when running duel alternators and it was because of the power steering pump....seem to really squeak after installing duel alts.

Point is,Maybe need to check that everything is alighned.

There was a shim that never came in my kit and it was out of alignment. They had it fixed in no time, but it went back to what it always done.

Ill have to talk to Dan and see what he says.

I want to get one. But is it true that there is no Gatorbacks for the LBZ with a dual cp3?
