Hey guys n gals,
my name is Dave, im 20 and recently got our 06 duramax as my dad was frustrated with fuel filters and was gonna get another gasser instead but i decided to buy it instead. I work, live, bleed our family farm and would never give it up.
Truck is bone stock at the moment, plans are to keep it relatively easy as it still has a large portion of its 100K mi warranty left and theres a buncha people who drive it so i dont want them to even be capable of screwin something up.
It's a plain jane truck, manual everything. Think the only option it has on the inside is the fold down center seat lol.
Plans (at the moment) are probably an Edge, MBRP 5" turbo back or possibly a stack (still in a debate), EGR/PCV mod, and a transgo jr when it gets warm again. If ya'll have other suggestion it'd be great, im sure it wont be long till i'll want more power like everyone else.
It's job 5 months out of the year is to pull 10,000lbs on a 17' dovetail trailer hauling seed from april-june, and from september-november pulling a 40,000lb (loaded) wagon as seen below, so the mods need to be able to accomodate those needs.
