Well thanks to Larry Jewell's pics and Mr Rye Whiskey, my truck is now de-badged as well.
I need to peel some glue off yet but they ain't going back on that's for sure!!

Not sure how I feel about it yet. I haven't looked at it sober yet!

I'll post some pics later today.

Getting the glue off is a pain, butt, since your not sober, just slowly roll it off with your fingers, it may take a while, but it is well worth it. Don't use any rubbing compounds or liquid to quickly take the glue off as it will intensify your headache :D

Your local Auto Paint store will have a huge wheel eraser made for this that you put in a drill and spin at slow speed!!!! And they work like a dream...There like $8 bucks.

If the double back tape is still pretty thick nothing will work like this eraser i'm telling you about. All the body shops use them to remove everything from pin stripes to full side graphics and it will not hurt the paint at all!! Very quick also..

When i did mine i used a very thin cable and wedged it between the panel and the badge. It cut the double tape like a knife (mind you tape was warm).

I also let it sit in the sun and used a LITTLE heat gun... turns the stuff to gopher snot.. rolls up like little rubber cement boooogers.

Watched a guy try it in the cold with a razor, actually chipped the paint with the glue:eek:

Hide the 8 lugs and the rattle and install 1500 emblems, sleeeeeeeeeeeeeper.
